Is Fountain Man free?
The free tier covers 500 exports a month, with PDF, Fountain and Mangaplay output. Fountain Plus Pistol Pro is $1.99 a month for 5,000 exports plus Final Draft, Fade In and plain text. Script checks are not metered on either tier.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no card required. Add the bot and start using it in the next message.
Which formats can it read?
Fountain, Mangaplay, Final Draft, Fade In, PDF and plain text. The format is detected from the file, so you never pick an input type. Files can be up to 8 MB.
Does it work in DMs?
Yes. Install it to your own account and the three right-click actions follow you into DMs and group chats. Your Fountain Plus Pistol Pro subscription follows you too.
Does it handle comic and manga scripts?
Yes. It reads the Mangaplay format, so page markers, panel markers and SFX lines are understood rather than flattened into action lines.
How is it different from other writing bots on Discord?
